• PDS* PLUS is a synthetic, absorbable monofilament suture designed for long-term wound support, similar to VICRYL* PLUS (Polyglactin 910) and MONOCRYL* PLUS (Poliglecaprone 25).
  
  
• PDS* PLUS features the IRGACARE** MP (triclosan) treatment, which creates a zone of inhibition around the suture to keep bacteria in check. This added level of protection costs just cents more per suture. PDS* PLUS is effective against: Staph A, Staph E, MRSA, MRSE, E. Coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae.
