VICRYL* Plus (polyglactin 910), the first and only Antibacterial Braided Suture and new MONOCRYL* Plus (poliglecaprone 25) Antibacterial Monofilament Suture, both contain Irgacare** MP, a pure form of Triclosan, which is a proven, broad-spectrum antibacterial.

- Absorbable, synthetic braided suture.

- Designed to reduce bacterial colonization on the suture.***
- In vivo testing has demonstrated the ability to kill bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus on the suture.***
- Clinical evidence demonstrates a significant reduction in pain and edema.***
- Handling and knot security of a braided suture.
